Workshop - Improvers Bowl Turning
Hosted by the wonderful Geoff at Grow Wilder, in Bristol. I will be teaching a one day bowl turning course for improvers.
This course is aimed at those who have turned at least one (ideally more) bowls on a pole lathe, and wish to gain expert advice on certain aspects.
You’ll be emailed before the course to enquire as to which aspects you’d like to improve on. For example;
Avoiding catches
Making a clean foot
Achieving a smooth finish
Decoration and shape design
A good fitness level is useful as it is quite a physically demanding day.
